A place to slow down and be understood.
Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. I don’t believe in rushing insight or pushing for change before you’re ready. Instead, we begin by building safety and understanding what has shaped you: your experiences, your relationships, and the patterns that have helped you survive.
Our sessions are conversational and reflective. There is space to slow down, to make sense of what feels tangled, and to notice what’s happening beneath the surface. Some days our work may feel steady and grounding; other days it may feel more exploratory. We move at a pace that respects your nervous system and your readiness.
You don’t have to arrive with perfect words or a clear narrative.
You just have to arrive.
How I Work
My work is grounded in relational and trauma-informed therapy, with close attention to attachment, nervous system safety, and the impact of past experiences on present relationships. I’m interested in how patterns form, how they’ve helped you cope, and how they may no longer be serving you.
Together, we work to increase understanding, build emotional regulation, and create room for new ways of responding to yourself and to others. When helpful, I integrate structured tools alongside depth-oriented work, always guided by your goals, values, and readiness.
Therapeutic Approaches
I draw from several evidence-based and relational approaches, tailoring the work to each person rather than following a rigid formula. These frameworks help guide our work, but the therapy itself remains collaborative and responsive.
Approaches I commonly draw from include:
Trauma-informed therapy, with attention to nervous system regulation and safety
Attachment-based and relational therapy, including Imago and Gottman-informed work with couples
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), used thoughtfully to support trauma and complex experiences
Parts-informed work, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), to support self-understanding and integration
You don’t need to be familiar with these approaches to begin. We’ll work together to find what’s most supportive for you.
